Great news! We’ve got the fabulous Murphy’s Lore performing at the Keys this coming Saturday – 16th November.
They’re a superb Norfolk folk rock band who are not to be missed.
See you Saturday – 9pm!
An exciting auction will be taking place at 8.00pm this Saturday. We’ve got some great lots on offer so come along and do a bit of bidding!
If you are unable to make the auction in person, please call the Cross Keys if you would like to place a commission bid on any items.
All proceeds going to the amazing Children in Need charity.
Our sincere thanks go to all those who have generously donated to this auction.
Brave souls ventured out into the dark, wet and windy weather yesterday to celebrate Halloween at The Cross Keys with a children’s party run by Bernie and Jan Cresswell followed by great music and dancing from Mick the Baker and Rob. See photos in the Gallery.
Here are some of the events taking place in the pub over the course of this month.
We hope you’ll be able to make some of them and look forward to seeing you!
This very successful event was organised and run by Kay Mitchell and friends. It was a first for The Cross Keys with 8 local and national charities selling cards and other goods.
St Nicholas Hospice
EA Air Ambulance
Suffolk Wildlife Trust
raised over £1100 between them.
Teas, coffees and bacon baps were also on offer as was a chocolate tombola that, itself, raised £138.
See pictures from the event.
Our new chef Michael is attracting a lot of new customers and we need more help in our kitchen, particularly at evenings and weekends. Experience desirable but not essential – motivation and a positive attitude are more important!
If you are interested we’d be pleased to hear from you.
